Marc by Marc Jacobs is relaxed, fun and full of friendly faces to the Zoya team and lead manicurist Elisa Ferri. Elisa has been working with Marc for many years and translated his vision to the nails yet again this season using the sheer off white Adel by Zoya Nail Polish on a short, groomed nail. The look this season was simple, simple, simple - simple hair, simple makeup, simple nails. The clothes took center stage as they should.

The wonderful Eva Chen from Teen Vogue stopped by to visit Zoya backstage and was given a few cuticle care tips while chatting with Elisa - see the video below.

Editorial manicurist Elisa Ferri (shown center) worked directly with Marc Jacobs and applied a single coat of color based on the models skin tone, using Zoya Cho or Farah, plus a coat of ultra glossy Armor top coat to keep the nail looks flowing and to elongate hands per his request.

Set to the music of the musical "Oliver!" The show itself was a dramatic, big hatted (all by milliner Stephen Jones) spectacular that was as full of vintage Victorian inspired whimsy as it was colorful fashion. Big shoe buckle lovers will be in heaven next fall!

Elisa Ferri is a very talented woman - top notch, celebrity and editorial Manicurist - Body Guard (don't mess with her!) and a Mind Reader it seems... 

 

When given the challenge of creating a unique yet subtle and perfected look for the nails at this season's SS 2012 Marc by Marc Jacobs show she got creative using an existing shade of Zoya Nail Polish in Olivia and topping it with a custom matte top coat (created just for the Marc Jacobs show upon her request) and voila - the "Zoya velvet seashell nail" was created. Marc loved it. 

Proving once again that Marc Jacobs, Elisa Ferri and the color experts at Zoya Nail Polish are a winning trio of fashion, ingenuity and style!

This season's Marc by Marc Jacobs show favored the sporty side of fashion with frocks to bum in the sun, frolic on the beach and just relax in. It was an easy, breezy, beachy Sunshine and Summertime esque Marc by Marc collection and we liked it.
