Purple Gleam Funky French

Okay, I swear I had writing in here, lol. Sorry guys, I don't know what happened, but I'm doing a quick re-do of it.

For this mani I used Milani Purple Gleam for the tips, and the brand 10, color #415 for the base color. That is DEF my all time fave base for my funky french's.

The Black Widow....

Now, I'm not 100% sure what made me come up with this, and it would have been great for Halloween, but it's still fun now :P It's just back and Milani Red Sparkle. Thank goodness these are core, cause I LOVE this red!!!

This is how it started....with an edgier version of the half moon mani :P I polished my nails black, then added a coat of SV. I then taped them off, and painted the red triangles next  to my cuticles, like so. Then one more coat of SV.

Then after they were mostly dry, I taped off my tips and painted them red : P

Peppermint Mani......

So I'm sure you've seen TONS of holiday manis, along with the peppermint/candy cane designs. I wanted to try this design myself, and even though at first I didn't like it, it did finally grow on me. I think my dislike was due to the fact that the lines weren't 100% even. I tend to get a smidge anal when it comes to things like that, but as a friend on MUA said, it's better that they are, because it looks more candy like. If they were perfect it would resemble a barbershop pole, lol. Well, she was right!

For this I used China Glaze's White on White, and Milani's Red Sparkle, along with....Scotch tape of course :P

Layered, Glitter & Funky French all in one...Could you want more??

For this one, I used 3 coats of Milani's Rad Purple for the base. If you don't have this, GET IT! Then I topped it off with Nicole's Pitch Black Glimmer. I just love this polish!!! Then a coat of SV. Look at this combo!!!!!

Would I really be me if I didn't add black tips???

Funky French with a Whimsical touch.........

So are you all tired of Funky French manis yet??? Hope not, cause they are my FAVE!! I had just purchased these glitters when I did this one. I loved the blue one so much, that I instantly knew I wanted to do a funky french with it. I used Brand 10, color #415 for the base, and Milani Blue Flash for the tips.
The Whimsical part, follows the first few pics <3

Then, I noticed I had my fino thingys in my purse, so decided to go a little OTT with this mani, and add some big blue fun hearts!! Too much? lol.I know it might be for some, but hey, I didn't do all my fingers, lol.

2010 Milani Gems Swatches....

Okay, so while I was at CVS, I saw that they were in the process of putting these out, so I gladly helped the SA with the unpacking, lol. Well I just learned I didn't grab the red one?!?!?!? Guess I'm going back. These are all sooo pretty, and I can say that it's the 1st collection in a loooong time, that I LOVE them all!!!

Here are the 6, out of 7, that I have

Silver Dazzle

Blue Flash (I'm not sure why my camera INSISTED on my hands being a very un-pretty shade of red, but the polish color is accurate)

Purple Gleam

Gold Glitz

Gems, which is a Lippman Happy Birthday dupe!!!

Gold, I LOVE these big hex glitters!! This was 2 THICK coats.
