Elisa Ferri is a very talented woman - top notch, celebrity and editorial Manicurist - Body Guard (don't mess with her!) and a Mind Reader it seems... 

 

When given the challenge of creating a unique yet subtle and perfected look for the nails at this season's SS 2012 Marc by Marc Jacobs show she got creative using an existing shade of Zoya Nail Polish in Olivia and topping it with a custom matte top coat (created just for the Marc Jacobs show upon her request) and voila - the "Zoya velvet seashell nail" was created. Marc loved it. 

Proving once again that Marc Jacobs, Elisa Ferri and the color experts at Zoya Nail Polish are a winning trio of fashion, ingenuity and style!

This season's Marc by Marc Jacobs show favored the sporty side of fashion with frocks to bum in the sun, frolic on the beach and just relax in. It was an easy, breezy, beachy Sunshine and Summertime esque Marc by Marc collection and we liked it.

This Spring Summer 2012 was completely on key really impressed us... Check out the little pink fringe swing number below (calling all Ann Margret fans - just makes us want to va va voom it).

Olivier Theyskens’ Theory line is fashion "cool", which is why our Zoya Nail Polish was such a perfect fit for the show! Celebrity and editorial superstar manicurist Jin Soon Choi (shown below) made it work for Olivier with a custom layering of Zoya Miley and Zoya Dharma in a unique combination that both reflected the shimmering holographic prints featured in the show and looked great on every model wearing it. The sheer Dharma has an opal finish and when worn over Miley pops the lilac hue creating an interesting depth and a dimensional finish to coordinate with Olivier's overall concept perfectly.

Zoya's relationship with Rachel Zoe can be a bit touchy... as in we can't keep our polished little fingers off her incredible clothing line RZ by Rachel Zoe and she can't keep her hands off our Zoya Nail Polish!

The Spring Summer 2012 RZ by Rachel Zoe Collection was no exception... each piece is a statement and a wardrobe must have all in one. Zoe herself described it as "Brigitte Bardot meets the south of France". An obvious transition from stylist to designer it may not have seemed but surely is. An trendy mix of texture, line and subtle details, along with her signature maxi's and animal inspired pieces, set this new collection apart from a classic while keeping the trends on the wearable side of fashionville. She knows exactly when to stop... and then to start up again... Maybe not to make the biggest fashion news headlines but when it comes to creating fun stylish pieces real women will love (and can afford) she is spot on.

Rachel Zoe's choices in nail color run a similar spectrum from bold and sexy to soft and sensual as well. For this go-a-round RZ called in a variety of nudes and ended up selecting Zoya Nail Polish in Amanda during her final hair and makeup test pre-show with Manicurist Sunshine Outing on behalf of Zoya (She liked it so much that Sunshine was booked to be at the stylish designers NYC digs in the early AM to make sure Rachel's nails would coordinate with those of her models during press interviews). As the images from the presentation demonstrate, Amanda's full coverage, creamy, soft nude nail polish hue with mauve undertones was the perfect color choice to put the spotlight on the stylish RZ woman who is a step ahead of the fashion world at all times.
